UI/UX Office

Located at one of the iconic commercial building, Safal Profitier on Corporate Road, Ahmedabad, this 8,000 sq.ft. office for Aubergine Solutions was conceived at a time when the meaning of the workplace was changing.

The project emerged in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, when one of the biggest challenges for organizations was giving the employees a reason to come back to the office. Our response was to rethink the office not simply as a place of work, but as a workplace ecosystem.

The entire office was organised into two complementary zones. The first was dedicated to productivity—carefully planned workstations, small and large meeting rooms, telephone pods, personal cabins and ideation spaces, each designed to support different modes of collaboration and concentration.

The second was intentionally different. Conceived as a recreational and rejuvenating zone, it offered spaces to pause, connect and recharge—to read, eat, play, have informal conversations or simply spend time together. The idea was to create moments within the office that felt less like a conventional workplace and more like a place people genuinely wanted to inhabit.

At the heart of the plan sits the structural core of the building, deliberately transformed in an unmistakable aubergine hue. This central intervention became the visual and conceptual anchor of the office, carrying the brand ethos and giving the otherwise calm palette a strong identity.

Around this core, the various spaces branch out organically, creating a sense of connection between the different functions of the workplace. The design language remains subtle and restrained, while carefully placed lighting elements, colour accents and distinctive wall treatments introduce a sense of playfulness.

The resulting workplace is deliberately balanced—professional yet warm, structured yet playful, focused yet social. More than accommodating a larger team, the design was about creating an environment that could rebuild connection, encourage interaction and make the return to the office feel meaningful.
